The newest member of our staff hails from Canada., where she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Prior to completing her optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Bansal was a research coordinator and graduate clinical instructor with the Department of Ophthalmology at Emory University.

Dr. Bansal has had extensive training in the management of advanced ocular disease and the comanagment of cataract and refractive surgery patients. She has worked as a low vision specialist for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, and in a variety of private practice settings throughout the Western United States.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the King County Optometric Association. Dr. Bansal provides comprehensive family eye care at our new office in DuPont and is anxious to get acquainted with her new neighbors in Pierce County, as she now resides in Tacoma. In her free time Dr. Bansal enjoys, skiing, hiking, biking and exploring her community.
