Dr. Waggoner attended the University of Utah where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his optometry degree from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, School of Optometry. His training included an internship at the American Lake Veterans Hospital in Tacoma.
With extensive training in contact lenses and clinical research with Bausch & Lomb and Wesley Jessen, Dr. Waggoner specializes in the fitting of challenging contact lenses, such as bifocal contacts, keratoconus, and post surgical contacts. In addition to contact lens management, he is also available for comprehensive eye examinations, refractive surgery evaluations, and medical management of ocular disease.
Dr. Waggoner and his wife, Marla, have five children and live in Olympia.
